Presented by the Legacy Chorale and community orchestra, Alzheimer's Stories shares the lived experiences of people living with Alzheimer’s or other dementias through music, along with the perspectives of their care partners and loved ones. This concert is designed to celebrate and uplift our memory care community and inspire all of us to live with kindness and empathy.

The concert program shares the lived experiences of people living with Alzheimer’s or other dementias through music, along with the perspectives of their care partners and loved ones. The program will convey universal themes such as finding strength in facing adversity and discovering purpose in advocacy. This concert is designed to celebrate and uplift our memory care community and inspire all of us to live with kindness and empathy.

 

The program will be accompanied by a resource fair before and after the concert.

Stories Circles will be offered after the concert, sponsored by the Lakes Area Justice Table.

 

The concert will include American Sign Language interpretation, provided by student volunteers from the Central Lakes College ASL Program.
